Musician and composer Steve Van Dam is on this episode!  Steve has had an enviable career by many standards: success with his rock band Everything including charting in the Billboard Top Ten, years of touring, playing a Super Bowl, getting featured in movies and TV shows. Steve continues to create original music now by channeling his focus to advertising, corporate videos, movies, and producing and engineering albums for himself and other musicians. #5: Media producer Matt Uvena

Matt Uvena is a media producer based in Washington D.C. Matt works at Interface Media Group overseeing all aspects of production from concept to development to production to final delivery. His projects range from corporate and training video to documentary to long form and short form online video, as well as some original broadcast pilots.

I’ve gotten to know Matt the last few years when he routinely talks with students, leading discussions on working in media production, and, an often overlooked topic, the BUSINESS side of the creative business.  Matt started out in an entry level position and quickly figured out that Interface could use a producer, a role that interested him.
